In Search Of The Perfect Alarm Clock
Many people face the same problem every morning. The initial act of getting up can be extremely painful. Once they are out of bed, it is not bad. There must be something that can be done about getting up. Use your imagination and explore some possibilities.
As you sleep in your bedroom, everything is lovely. Perhaps you are dreaming about the perfect scenario. Your world may be perfect, at least for now. Suddenly, a Mcculloch chainsaw starts up. This saw is not too far from you, either. What invaded your wonderful dreams? The chainsaw alarm clock did. It features two very good motivators for getting out of bed. You get a loud roaring noise by your head. You also receive the danger of having a chainsaw running in your bedroom. Most people would not hit the snooze bar on that alarm.
In another scenario, you are asleep. At 6:00 am, there is a clicking sound. A coffee machine comes on. It brews and feeds through a series of tubes. These tubes lead to your arm, as you lay in bed with an IV attachment. Finally, the coffee flows through the tubing to your arm. The coffee reaches the bloodstream. Eyes pop open and you are ready for your day. This is a silent alarm. It will not disturb others.
Have you ever been awakened by someone cleaning? Perhaps someday you can program your Dyson upright vacuum cleaner. It will start its daily cleaning, when it is time for you to awaken. You will need to make sure that it runs into things and makes as much noise as possible. This touch of realism may be just what you need.
There is an alarm that you can make on your own. Attach your DVD player to a timer. Obtain a recording of a baby crying. This alarm may be effective for females only. Males may merely tap their wives, and roll back over to sleep. The alarm can be made more effective. Find a way to add the smell of a soiled diaper to the mix. This will intensify the effect.
Who does not appreciate an all-time classic, the toaster bed of the future? This alarm/bed pops up like toasted bread, in the mornings. You will up in record time. This may not be appropriate for a loft bed with desk situation, for example. However, if you use your imagination, it can be modified.
Conclusion
Many people have trouble getting up in the morning. If you need a good alarm, choose a loud one. Make sure it has a negative effect on you. Set it across the room, from where you sleep. It will only hurt for a few minutes.
