What are hot and cold gel packs made out of and where can I find their material safety data sheets?

ya, I know what you mean, the MSDS really arent available. BUT the patents are, consider searching google patent for hot pack or cold pack. http://www.google.com/patents?q=hot+packs&btnG=Search+Patents You can get an idea about the chemicals in them. Be warned that the plastics/plasticizers will eventially wear out and then leak. The chemicals work forever, just not the pllastics.
