Goldfish Has a Funny Eye?
My shubunkin is only about 1 1/2 years old but it seems to have a funny eye, slightly raised with a harded, silver flake around it.
I have used disease safe on it, however no change has been made, I’m worried about my goldfish going blind or having the eye fall out!!
What do I do?
I have a baby (small) biOrb fish tank, with only one fish!
It could be Cloudy eye (a whiteish film that develops over one or both of the eyes) is caused by a bacterial infection. Cloudy eye can be from lack of tank maintinance so make sure you clean it out every 2 weeks.
You also may want to check your water quality, you do this by taking a sample of water to your aquatic store.
If it is cloudy eye then you should see changes in the fishes behaviour like it has become very slow an inactive also it
