A vaporizer is a gizmo which heats up dried herbs to a temperature where the active components can be released into a safe savoury vapour. In this process the herb is not scorched, burned or combusted, so no smoke is generated. Though vapor may appear to look like smoke, it doesn't contain any of the dangerous particles (tar, benzene, toluene, naphthalene, etc.), which make smoking such a health danger.
Vaporizing is different than smoking.
Smoking uses the process of combustion that releases the ingredients in the herb being smoked. One of the main issues with combustion is that it also releases toxins like CO2, carbon monoxide, tar, ash and other carcinogenic elements known to cause cancer. According to research, between 30 to 50 % of the ingredients in herbs are wiped out when the plant material is in the combustion stage. What this means is that not only does smoking have damaging effect on your health but also the indispensable ingredients of the plant are destroyed making the entire process a bit futile and self-destructive.
Vaporizing is thought of as a much better choice than smoking. It delicately warms up the plant material employing a heating element instead of combustion. Vaporizing permits the active elements of your herb to be released into a thin vapour around 180-200C (356-392F), which is 95% pure and clean and most importantly free of damaging byproducts. The vapour can be filtered and cooled down using one or two different methods before inhalation.
Vaporizers come in 1 or 2 different models and a variety of price tags. They come in all sizes from the larger home models to the specially designed lightweight and discreet ones. Many home models have a power rope so you'll have to be near an electrical outlet and they often come with a range of accessories such as balloons and valves that need some space. The Volcano Vaporizer and the Arizer Extreme are favored examples of home models.
Most lightweight vaporizers come with rechargeable batteries and are powered by butane or NO2 so that they can be used nearly anywhere. Some portable vaporizers

3 Sorts of Vaporizers
There are 3 sorts of Vaporizers; the glass vaporizer, the electric vaporizer and the digital vaporizer.
The Glass Vaporizer
is the simplest way to get your herb to the required temperature as there is gap between the heat source and your herb. One of the downsides is the lack of temperature accuracy but it's a reasonable choice.
The Electric Vaporizer comes in one or two different models and is legendary for being simple to utilize. Your herb is heated up by an electric part on a glass bulb that when filled creates vapor and the user breathes it through a tiny tube.
The Digital Vaporizer
is the more modern model on the market. It has got a unheard-of feature of having a chip that accurately ensures the exact temperature and the material isn't overheated or wasted.
Inhalation Techniques
There are 1 or 2 different techniques of inhalation to choose between when shopping for your vaporizer.
The Stored Vapor strategy creates the vapor, stores it in a glass dome or balloon style bag until the user is ready to use it. The balloon style bag holds bigger amounts of vapour than the dome style.
The Direct Lung
method permits hot air to go through the herb, sending the vapor straight into your lungs. This technique allows for bigger hits because there is no vapor storage. One of the benefits of this technique is the taste “it’s clean fresh tasting vapor. Some models have an in-built fan to get a higher volume of air moving into your lungs.
