Free DVD ripper for Mac?
Hi, what I am looking for is a free DVD ripper for Mac. I have Handbrake but it doesn’t seem to do exactly what I want it to do – it converts video and does not rip it byte by byte, which is what I want.
I have had a look at Mac the Ripper, but I have heard that it is a horribly coded? Also the only *free* download available is version 2.6.6 which does not support intel macs without Rosetta. MTR is supposed to be free full stop and version 4.0 is out but cannot be acquired without payment.
I have also checked out RipIt which has a free trial and it rips the entire contents of the DVD special features and all. I want the choice. I could probably cut the size of the file down in half by removing special features etc…

TBH never mind free DVD ripper, there doesn’t seem to be any others for Mac, at all.
WinX has a free mac dvd ripper (converts to mp4 etc) – the free Windows software is reliable and safe to use so I can only suppose the same is true for the Mac
