Are my arms too… small for a sleeve tattoo?
In a couple years I’ll be looking to get a sleeve tattoo (the ones that cover the arm, for anyone who might not know). I have pretty small arms — 9 inches around on the upper arm and about 18 inches long from shoulder to wrist.
I’m already starting to develop designs so by that time I’ll know what I want for sure. Problem is, I want to include a peony (which are large flowers in nature) but I’m worried it’ll curve to the back of my arm. I dont want too much detail going on back there, and it also might warp the image. On the other hand if it’s too small a lot of people probably will mistake it for a rose. This is pretty much the focal point of my design so it’s gotta look perfect.
Question is: are my arms too small for this kind of thing? And what should I do with the peony so it doesn’t look funny?
Well I think you should keep the main point of your tattoo large (which is the flower) and the rest of the tat. could be remodified for your size arm..So no I dont think your arm is too small..Good luck on that and I hope my suggestion works for you.
