Can a tampon make you sterile?!?
Okay so i was watching this one program were they were talking about tampons how they can be bad for you and such.. the thing that worries me is that ive been always using tampons for like 8 years and i mean always rarely used pads.
So the thing they were saying is that if you use tampons alot and take them out sooner that the Cotton scrapes of and builds up in you and can make you sterile cause of the Cotton left over inside of you. I have plenty time on accident taken it out earlier thinking that i need to and have felt the Cotton like sticking. im now worried that i may not be able to get pregnant or now have Cotton inside of me. So my other question is that if so Cotton stays inside you will it eventually come out over time?? im worried now.
It’s cotton. It won’t kill your babies.
Also, you know that peculiar white substance that comes out of your vagina almost every day? That’s called DISCHARGE and it keeps your vagina clean and clear.
The program lies, and cotton will not destroy your chances of reproduction.
But if you’re that paranoid, you can switch to pads. I’ve always used pads because the only REAL risk with tampons is that there’s a chance you can apply them wrong and something will get hurt. Pads are easy and there’s no risk of injury (except for Toxic Shock Syndrome)
