What can I buy to strip the color from my hair?
I recently dyed my hair a medium brown and hate it and I would like to go back to a blonde. My hair is naturally light brown/dirty blonde, so is there anything I can buy to strip this medium brown out of my hair so it will be easier to go blonde? I just dyed it less than a week ago so the color is still pretty fresh!! PLEASE HELP! I need a hair expert!
There are hair stripping products you can buy over the counter, but it will not give you the results you want. For medium brown hair it will just turn it pumpkin orange (which i’ve done 3 times, not learning my lesson from the previous 2). Red/orangey (brassy) colors are the hardest to get out of your hair. Stripping it also leaves your hair very weak and dry. Your very best bet is to go to a salon and have them do it for you. Sorry if that’s not what you want to hear, but its 100% honest.
