Do you experience a tranquil awakening?
Immediately after waking-up in the a.m., I feel this calmly euphoric and timeless “other-worldliness” for several minutes — until my bladder dictates my feelings. Do any of you experience this in those first few moments after awakening?
I also discovered that an alarm clock completely ruins the effect!
Anyone else enjoy this morning treat? Is this what makes a “morning person”. The whole morning DOES seem to go swimmingly whenever I wake in this fashion. How ’bout you folks?
I too enjoy my awaking experience. I am autistic as such my waking is different from what you describe in some odd ways. Yes I do feel an immense pleasure in waking to a new day. For me it is a slow subtle process of many different systems feeling as if they are slowly coming up to full operational speed. It is not unlike the experience of watching new days dawn breaking over what was just seconds ago a dull and lifeless void. It is as if I feel the life reinvigorating me ever so slowly after all I am an old codger of 50 years old. At age 50 the life force moves at a much slower yet still deliberate speed.
By the time I am in the shower my heart is strong. My outlook is sunny and I am chomping at the bit to get on with my day. I am a morning person indeed who enjoys every minute of life. I have many disabilities so my life never goes swimmingly but all things considered my life is GOOD! I am a happy old Gray Autistic Wolf Dude.
