Pet rat. Can i use savlon antisepic wound wash?
I need to know if its safe to use on his open abcess
ive read people use savlon cream on wounds on rats, but not sure about the spray
I wouldnt as it could give skin irritation/have something harmful in it.
Use a salt water solution to clean the wound. There are lots of natural wash mixtures for pets online have a search. Or you could buy a special pet wound wash.
